Captain America: The Winter Solider is a success both critically and financially. For the second weekend in a row the Marvel Studios film took the #1 spot this time bringing in an estimated $41 million dollars. In its first week of release the animated sequel Rio 2 came in narrowly at second with about $39 million. The horror movie Oculus had a mediocre opening with an estimated $12 million. Kevin Costner’s latest effort, Draft Day, failed to light up the boards bringing in less than $10 million dollars in its opening weekend. While Divergent hung onto the fifth spot adding another $7 million to its four-week run.
