The story of a mortal man who through self-determination and the power of will, decides to take a stand and dedicates his life for fighting for what is right, has captured the imagination of millions of people. That message has crossed all cultural barriers and whose impact is real and tangible.
Director Brett Culp embarked on a three year journey that culminated in his award-winning documentary, Legends of the Knight. The documentary attempts to shed light on the inspirational power that Batman has had on everyday people’s lives. The character has gone from a drawing on a page, to a true mythological symbol capable of inspiring and uniting communities. The movie looks to shed light on those who have embodied Batman’s message in their work and communities. As well as those who are fighting their own individual battles by using the sense of hope that the legend of Batman has instilled in them. It looks like must-see viewing.
