Ant-Man, Falcon, Mad Max, Spider-Man, Key & Peele and many others made waves over the past few months in the geekosphere for various reasons. So before we transition to the fall season, let’s take a look back at some video clips inspired from the past summer.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be coming to home theater systems everywhere shortly and what better way to celebrate than with an Honest Trailer? George Miller truly crafted an action touchstone that will be appreciated years from now, more than it is today. So before it gets all the accolades it deserves, here is the Screen Junkies to knock Max down a few notches.

This summer, actor Jason Statham expanded his resume by stealing scenes in the Melissa McCarthy vehicle, Spy. People were generally surprised by his comedic timing, there is no doubt that his greatest timing lies in Statham’s ability to punch somebody…anybody…in the face. Ant-Man vs Falcon from ANT-MAN
How is this for a treat? The appeal of Ant-Man was how well the humor hit, without falling into camp. It also managed to deliver a few surprises that audiences didn’t see coming, such as the cameo of Anthony Mackie, as the Falcon, among other things. Well, here is the fight in its entirety! And imagine, we will be seeing these Marvel heroes team up next summer in Captain America: Civil War. Enjoy the fight!
Spider-Man the Horror Movie Trailer
We are less than a year away from seeing the third actor put on the Spider-Man tights. And with each incarnation, the flaws of the previous version become much more apparent. What should be clear after watching this clip is that the first Spider-Man movie would work great as a horror movie.
Gremlins 2 “Brainstorming Session” – Key & Peele
One of the most curious sequels ever made was Gremlins 2: The New Batch. The original film successfully blended comedy and horror in ways that had not necessarily been tried before. However, for the sequel, they threw the formula out of the window and went full-scale comedy. Key & Peele announced that this would be the show’s last season this summer, so we wanted to find a great new clip from them to geek out to. Take a look at the brainstorming sessions that occurred between the Gremlins producers, executives. and screenwriters, resulting in the over-the-top sequel.
