Marvel’s “Can’t Fail” Trailer
We all know Marvel has figured out the secret formula to box-office success. The beauty of what they have pulled off is that they have turned their production company into a brand. At this point, a large portion of the movie-going audience trusts the name Marvel when selecting a film, like most would regard a good review or director. The gang at Saturday Night Live as noticed the power of the Marvel brand as well. They have enlisted Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt to make a few trailers for Marvel’s upcoming film slate. Check it out:
How hilarious was that? Seeing Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy worlds blend is always pretty cool. (Check out this trailer.)
He-Man & Lion-O Come to Life
Every kid wishes that their action figures could come to life at some point during childhood. Heck, Pixar made a franchise out of the concept with Toy Story. In this skit, a child’s He-Man and Lion-O toys, played by Chris Pratt and Taran Killam respectively, magically come to life after a birthday wish. However when they arrive, they are ill-equipped for the real world. It has a cameo from Ariana Grande and is full of typical SNL crude fun and childish humor.
That was… realistic…and possibly really disturbing…Moving on…
