Gotta catch ’em all. Gotta catch ’em all. Even if you never bought a single card or watched an entire episode, you know what that is referring to. Pokemon. The phenomenon that began with creator Satoshi Tajiri’s videogames for the Gameboy in 1996, which combined elements of RPG, card trading, and virtual pets, went on to become a multimedia sensation.
The videogames evolved and spawned a hugely successful cartoon series. The anime became a mainstay of kids of the 90’s and a legend was born. This week TC and Karina Michelle, the Epic Comicast crew, are going to explore the impact of Pokemon on a generation. They also touch on all of the biggest news stories for the week. Check it out!

Everything will get to the big-screen eventually and Pokemon is no exception. (I would expect a live-action Pokemon in about ten years or less. Just a hunch.) As a bonus, we threw in this fan-film. Enjoy the trailer and the podcast!
