Epic Comicast Podcast – Ep 66 – Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Favorite Underused Batman Villains

It’s time for another week of the podcast made by fans, about the fandoms you love. This week’s episode is jam-packed as the ECC team takes a look back at the disastrous box-office performance of Fantastic Four, which has been one of the biggest superhero flops in years. If you are looking for a unique perspective on the the movie, this is your place. They also take a look at some of the most traditionally underused Batman villains and nominate them to get the big-screen treatment.

For the main course…it’s time for the Justice League to get weird! Legendary writer Bruce Timm is one of the minds behind Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Batman Beyond, and a host of other TV shows and movies from DC Animation’s past and present. His latest project Justice League: Gods and Monsters, takes place in an alternate universe where Superman is the son of General Zod and Batman is a blood-sucking vampire. Karina and TC give their thoughts on this radical take on DC Comics’ most legendary heroes and let you know if it is worth your time. Enjoy the show!
