Marvel debuted its newest television series, Jessica Jones, on Netflix this past weekend to almost universal praise. The show has broadened the scope of the Marvel cinematic universe and the ECC crew give their initial impressions on the series. Next week they will go in-depth and break down the entire first season, so make sure to come back for more. There were also rumblings that a Hey Arnold movie is in development, only a week after the ECC crew featured the Nicktoons show. They give their thoughts on it and more.
At the core of all of these superhero TV shows and movies are comic books. For the main event, worlds will collide as DC Comics’ Justice League of America takes on Marvel Comics’ Avengers, in JLA/Avengers. The comic storyline had a mixed reception, but there were many dynamic images, such as Superman wielding Thor’s hammer with Captain America’s shield. The ECC team takes a look at the crossover battle for the ages and walks you through the story’s highs and lows. So get ready for the ride!
