IRON FIST Trailer: The Final Defender is Coming to Netflix

The beauty of the Marvel and Netflix partnership is that we are getting the chance to explore characters and pockets of the MCU, that could never be explored solely at the cinemas. We certainly wouldn’t be getting feature films for Jessica Jones or Luke Cage, so the fact that we get to spend 13 hours with each hero has been a treat.

The quartet of Marvel/Netflix heroes will be complete this March when Iron Fist smashes his way on to the streaming service. He joins Daredevil, as well as Cage and Jones, as pioneers for Marvel and the four members of next year’s super team The Defenders.

Last month Netflix viewers worldwide were introduced to Harlem’s superhero, Luke Cage. The debut was so powerful that it shut down the servers for a couple of hours. Cage’s future partner in anti-crime, Danny Rand (Finn Jones), is the next character to become a household name following Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones, so get ready.

Rand is the son of a billionaire whose parents were killed in a mysterious accident while on an expedition. He wanders upon a magical city where he learns the mystical ways of kung-fu and the art of the Iron Fist. He travels back to the states to right his parent’s company and to serve justice. We’ve been covering this project for a long time (for more exclusive Iron Fist coverage click here), so it nice to see the series come together so dynamically. Check it out.

Official Synopsis:

K’un-Lun saved him. Lei Kung trained him. And now, Danny Rand is back to fight for what’s his.

Marvel’s Iron Fist premieres on Netflix on March 17th, 2017.
