NBA mega-star LeBron James recently denied his involvement in the sequel to 1996’s, Space Jam. Rumors began heating up recently when Deadline (Deadline reports Lebron keen on starring in Space Jam 2) began running a story that James was up to replace Michael Jordan in the developing film. The original movie was a live-action and animation hybrid featuring many of the classic Looney Tunes characters in a basketball themed adventure, highlighted by cameos from both the NBA and Hollywood.
It would seem the time is right for James to begin to branch out and expand his brand. After all, much like Jordan, James has 3 MVP trophies and multiple championship rings under his belt when consideration for the starring role arose. James may be responsible for the early speculation himself by posting on Twitter his desire to star in the sequel.
However, today Brian Windhorst reported that the speculation was in fact unsubstantiated.
Well it was fun while it lasted. LeBron sources refute Deadline report, there’s no Space Jam 2 or Warner Bros. project in works

And with those few words the chance at world peace once again slipped through our collective grasp…
Alas, for those dying to see LeBron James on the big screen your wishes still may come true. James next film project will be with red-hot comedian and new film star Kevin Hart in a film titled, Ballers. (Here’s The Real ‘Twins’ Sequel: Kevin Hart To Play LeBron James’ Brother In ‘Ballers’) The plot is said to revolve around the pair playing mismatched brothers, one being physically gifted, while its safe to assume the other brother is gifted at getting into awkward situations…and at being really short…
If that doesn’t work out. His recent broken nose and inevitable face mask will make James a prime candidate for the remake to The Dark Knight Rises down the line. ( Lebron James might wear a Bane mask). When you are King James your opportunities are limitless!
Give us your P.O.G. and let us know your thoughts on Lebron, Looney Tunes, Kevin Hart and other bizarre mashups.
