CBS and CW released new trailers for their upcoming shows Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, shocking fans with the scale of the upcoming shows. Marvel has planted its flag and decided that they will not go “dark” with their comic book movies. Meanwhile WB/DC is about to make a huge splash in 2016, with two dark and gritty releases, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. The two are headed for an epic battle that will determine what audiences want out of superhero movies in the future. There is also a lot of rumors for both Captain America: Civil War and Ant-Man that TC and Karina discuss as well and a whole lot more!
For the main course, the Epic Comicast team takes a trip back and reviews 2004’s The Punisher. The film starred John Travolta and Thomas Jane as the Frank Castle, Marvel’s deadliest anti-hero. They break down what the movie did right and wrong, as well as what could happen in the future. Get ready for an awesome episode!
