LOOK: Check Out this Handy Infographic Detailing the Entire STAR WARS Chronology

We are just a few short months away from Star Wars mania taking grip of the public consciousness once again. A large reason for the franchise’s gargantuan success was how George Lucas trail-blazed merchandising and expanded the universe of Star Wars, beyond the borders of the film’s stories. The Star Wars story grew due to endless novels, comics, video games, and other mediums adding new wrinkles and characters to the mythology.

Due to such a long history, Lucasfilm choose to essentially hit ‘reset’ when they made the decision to reinvigorate the series with new films, beginning with Star War: The Force Awakens. Essentially the only things that remained canon were the movies and The Clone Wars series, which angered long-time fans, but makes sense practically. Even so, the Star Wars history can get confusing and keeping it all straight can be a chore. Outer Places has done a favor for all fans of the Force, now and in the near future. They have organized the chronology of the entire Star Wars story into a handy infographic. (Note: The release date of the Han Solo movie is actually on May 25th, 2018.) Check it out.
