The Maze Runner was first published in 2009 by author James Dashner. A young-adult book about a post-apocalyptic world where a group of young men are forced to run a deadly maze for their survival. However, this is no ordinary maze made of bushes, but a transforming maze with deadly creatures around every bend. The feature film stars a slew of upstarts such as Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones), Kaya Scodelario (Skins) and Will Poulter (We’re the Millers). It looks to be a combination of Lord of the Flies and The Hunger Games, which to be honest, sounds like a pretty entertaining time. Here is the trailer for The Maze Runner:
