You can’t blame Sony’s marketing department for being lazy. Despite Spider-man being in pop culture for over 60 years and the first four movies grossing over $3 billion dollars worldwide, we are still getting the constant reminder that his the newest adventure is coming soon. Check it out here:

The newest trailer doesn’t offer much more than the previous ones. In fact much of the dialogue is even the same. However, it could be possible that since we are seeing the same scenes in trailers, commercials and promotions that they are keeping a few set pieces and plot points secret. (Don’t ruin our dream). Regardless, we will be there to see how director Marc Webb has built the foundation for an eventual Spider-man universe, featuring the Sinister Six.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be in a theater near you on May 2, 2014.
