‘The Flash’ – Extended TV Trailer

Warner Bros has been in a long hibernation when it comes to bringing their expansive DC Comics catalogue to live-action. Aside from Superman and Batman, rarely has any other Justice League members gotten their day in the sun. Well it seems times are changing. And on the CW network of all places…

First they brought the Green Arrow to life in Arrow, which after a shaky start quickly gained its footing as one of the premiere action shows around. In that show they introduced Barry Allen and the accident that would one day make him the hero The Flash. He is being spun-off into his own series this fall and here is the extended look at it.

The production values are surprisingly high. For television the special effects, set design, acting all appear to be on bar with any action serial. It also seems that the creators will have fun exploring the different ways to Allen’s speed. By both showing the Flash through his perspective and the viewers angle, we should be in for a weekly visual treat.

Also CW hasn’t been shy with the crossover potential of Arrow and the Flash. Apparently Arrow, Oliver Queen, will be training him to be a hero and here is the proof…

Looks like television will be a treat this fall. Let us know how you like the adaptation of the World’s Fastest Man.
