The Flash, CW’s spin-off of it’s hit show Arrow, is set to debut this fall. The first trailer showed that we should raise our expectations on the quality of show. Recently, certain members of the press were leaked the pilot episode and according to IGN, “It was almost like a one hour blockbuster movie.” Director David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Entourage) is helming the pilot and setting the tone for the show. So it is no real surprise that he is bringing a cinematic feel to the small screen. He has been doing that for HBO for years now.
We are bringing you a series of short behind-the-scenes promotional videos. The first two should get you enthusiastic about the high-level of production quality for the show. The remaining two focus on some of the supporting characters in Barry Allen, aka The Flash’s life, Iris West and the detective who is rumored to go on to become his greatest nemesis…Reverse-Flash.

CW, more to the point Warner Bros., are seemingly making every effort to make this show a success. The fact that there is a focused effort to make this show feel cinematic should not be glossed over. If it already feels like a movie, it will make the transition that much easier for viewers to accept, if they choose to include Grant Gustin (and Stephen Amell) to their Justice League efforts. If the quality of the show can stay high, anything is possible.
The Flash hits TV screens on October 7th on the CW network.
