Marvel’s Deadpool has the rare ability to break the fourth wall and speak directly to his audience. It’s the perfect fit with viral campaigns, which go outside the normal publicity channels to market movies. By February’s release of Deadpool, Fox’s marketing campaign may go down as one of the most creative and effective in recent movie history. 

Whether Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds, is smashing Mario Lopez with heavy equipment or taking kids Trick or Treating, he is making his presence felt all over the internet. A few days ago he announced that we are experiencing the “12 Days of Deadpool.” Each day he will be delivering a “gift” up until Christmas, where the guy in the red suit will debut a brand new trailer. Today he dropped a teaser…for the trailer…which is typically a waste of time. However, Deadpool brought chimichangas! And we all know that you came for the chimichangas! It’s clear that the comic book’s irreverent humor and references are intact. The biggest question is how will mainstream audiences respond to the comedy in February. Official Synopsis:
