WATCH: Arnold Schwarzenegger Shed a Man-Tear in the Trailer for the Zombie Drama ‘Maggie’

Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for a lot of different things. However his biggest talent might be at defying the odds. He has a scroll of seemingly unattainable accomplishments including becoming Mr. Universe, turning himself into one of the biggest movie stars ever, becoming the governor of California, he played Danny Devito’s brother, and even played a killer robot as a senior citizen in Terminator: Genisys. He clearly doesn’t know his boundaries.

Schwarzenegger is trying to prove us all wrong again as he headlines the zombie drama Maggie. The movie is about a father tending to his ill daughter, played by Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), that has been infected during a zombie apocalypse. It looks closer to an episode of the The Walking Dead, than an all out action movie such as Resident Evil and that is a shock with Schwarzenegger in the lead dramatic role. Surprisingly, he seems to deliver an understated performance that actually might be intriguing. Either Schwarzenegger will surprise audiences, or provide another two hours of ripe parody material. Either way…we win! Heck, we even get to see Arnie shed a Man-Tear. Epic. Check it out.

Official Synopsis:

The film tells the story of a deadly zombie virus that has put a plague on the world. When Maggie, a vivacious young woman becomes infected, her father brings her home to let her be with their family. As Maggie’s condition worsens, their relationship is tested, a father’s love holding on stronger than the disease. This heart-wrenching twist on the zombie apocalypse puts a human face on an inexplicable horror.
