Arrow and The Flash have been escalating the tension and ramping up the stakes on both of their individual shows all season long. Arrow (Stephen Amell) is headed on a crash course with Ra’s Al Ghul, while the Flash (Grant Gustin) is getting dangerously close to figuring out who murdered his mother.

Over the course of the final few episodes, characters from both Arrow and The Flash will be crossing over into each other’s shows. Joe West and Cisco will find themselves in Starling City working with Quentin Lance, while Felicity and Ray Palmer will end up in Central City. Each contributing their unique skillsets to each other’s investigations. This cross-pollination is just the tip of the iceberg, as they are certainly using the promo to get viewers used to the fluidity of character movement, in anticipation of the untitled team-up show coming next season. 

CW released this new promo today that spotlights all of the relevant heroes and villains of each DC Comics’ show. While this footage is solely for promotional purposes, it is fun to see the actors get to let loose as their characters. CW is also insuring that the viewers know who are the major players in each show, because many of those characters will be highlighted further in the spin-off show, led by Palmer’s Atom (Brandon Routh), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) next year. The last few episodes of the season are right ahead of us. Enjoy the fun.
