Marvel has changed the structure of the movie industry with their serialized form of filmmaking. Each individual movie is interconnected with each other, which has built tension leading directly into war. In two short months. the complexion of this cinematic universe will change dramatically and not in an Avengers movie. Captain America: Civil War will explore how loyalty, politics, and war, will tear apart the superheroes that we have grown with since Iron Man.

This trailer gives audiences their first real glimpse at the drama and story at the center of Civil War and tensions have run higher than ever. For those that were worried that the heroes would be pulling their punches… Fear not. This looks to be a movie that could raise the stakes and set an even more mature tone for the MCU. There are also a few monumental reveals, including our first glimpses of T’Challa and Spider-Man. There is a lot to get into with this trailer, so stay tuned. Enjoy!

Official Synopsis:

Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
