There is a lot riding on the upcoming reboot of the Ghostbusters. Director Paul Feig has been tasked with bringing the franchise back to life and he has chosen to go in several unconventional ways. The biggest decision being to reboot the series over making a direct sequel and swapping genders for the starring quartet. As the public awaits the new incarnation of New York’s top supernatural exterminators, only time will tell if the tides will turn the skeptical eyes.

We have been covering every scrap of information from the production, ranging from character descriptions to proton packs. So in the grand tradition of bringing you small, possibly inconsequential tidbits from Ghostbusters we bring you the trailer…for the trailer.

In the small glimpse, we see the military preparing to battle an unseen threat. However, there aren’t any looks at the main cast or any of the ghouls that will haunt the Ghostbusters this summer. So take a look and stay tuned for more news from the upcoming movie.
