Last year animation fans enjoyed an abundance of riches as Pixar released two films, The Good Dinosaur and Inside Out. While the former was an enjoyable film, Inside Out was a smash hit that went on to both critical and audience acclaim. While both movies were original creations, the studio still hasn’t forgotten its roots and returns to one of its most successful franchises this upcoming summer.

Finding Dory is the sequel to one of Pixar’s greatest hits, Finding Nemo. This time the story follows the amnesiac fish Dory, who is again voiced by Ellen Degeneres, and the search for her long lost family. The adventure goes from deep sea trenches to the inside of the Monterey Aquarium and while it looks like a blast, it certainly seems like a tear-jerker as well. The cast is rounded out by a list of industry veterans and legends including Ed O’Neill, Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, and the always hilarious Eugene Levy, so we can expect equal amounts of witty humor balanced with true heart.
