WATCH: The Teaser Trailer for STEVE JOBS Starring Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen

The battle to get the second major bio-pic about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs to the big screen has been a monumental effort. After a series of director changes, Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) took over the reigns and the search for the perfect actor to embody the visionary mogul began.

Things seemed to fall into place when Christian Bale, who is not only one of the best living actors on Earth, but also had a striking resemblance to Jobs. The actor and role seemed to be the perfect match. However, Bale eventually dropped out of the project leaving the production scrambling to find another A-list leading man. They needed someone that could handle the dialogue heavy script by Aaron Sorkin and fill the boots of such a recognizable public figure. They already had filled out much of the supporting cast including Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder and engineer Steve Wozniak. Finally they secured actor Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Days of Future Past) to portray Jobs and the production aggressively ramped up.
