Studios are fully aware of the powerful cat-nip like affects that showing new footage can have on a rabid fanbase. Especially when you have a fanbase following a character as insane as Deadpool, all bets are off. Typically we try to veer away from announcement trailers…but this is the Merc with a Mouth. He simply should not be silenced…Add to the fact that he is cursing at Fox Studios about their previous treatment of his character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and suddenly this becomes a must-see event. 

The actual first teaser trailer comes out tomorrow, so make sure to check back here for it and some analysis. When movies like this are coming into existence, you know it’s a great time to be a fan.

Official Synopsis:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, “Deadpool” tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
